  10. IRIS InSight Professional Publisher allows technical writers to create
  11. InSight books, SGI help cards, and hardcopy manuals, all from a single
  12. FrameMaker source document. This evaluation copy of IRIS InSight
  13. Professional Publisher 1.0 and FrameMaker 4.0 provides you with the tools
  14. and templates necessary to create FrameMaker source documents, and convert
  15. them to indexed SGML InSight books and SGI Help cards. Frame source
  16. documents for InSight books can also be used for on-line documentation on
  17. other platforms with compatible DynaText viewers from Electronic Book
  18. Technologies.

  20. Books created with IRIS InSight Professional Publisher can also be published
  21. for the World Wide Web. Included in the upcoming Digital Media Systems
  22. "Desktop Special Edition 1.1" software offering, the IRIS InSight
  23. Dynaweb(TM) Server will convert InSight books and "chunk" them into
  24. formatted HTML from SGML on the fly, without any manual data conversion.
  25. IRIS InSight's sophisticated searching capabilities and hyperlinks will also
  26. be maintained. (Desktop Special Edition will be available calendar Q4, '95)

  28. IMPORTANT: IRIS InSight Professional Publisher requires IRIX 5.3, the IRIS
  29. Development Option (IDO), and FrameMaker 4.0. The IRIS InSight Professional
  30. Publisher and FrameMaker evaluation software are included in this directory
  31. of the toolbox in inst image format.

  33. The sizes of these inst images weigh in as follows:

  35.    * IRIS InSight Professional Publisher evaluation software: 13MB
  36.    * FrameMaker evaluation software: 54MB

  38. To use the evaluation copy of IRIS InSight Professional Publisher, netls_eoe
  39. is required (which can be loaded from your "IRIX 5.3" operating system CD).
  40. You will also need to install a temporary license. To add the temporary
  41. license, copy the following two lines into to your /var/netls/nodelock file.
